My favourite all-time animal: The Cat. Meow!
Roughly 5 million tons of horse meat is consumed yearly by these 8 countries.

In December 2011 American president Obama lifted a five-year ban on horse slaughter. Bringing a once taboo food to the tables of Americans. 70% of Americans oppose horse slaughter, will this lift bring nourishment and good proteins to many starving Americans? Only time will tell.
I pass her on my early morning runs, she is generally feasting beside the bamboo fence.
This morning, once the sun shot its first morning beams over the mountains, I headed out into the wild winter morning in hopes to capture her magnificent beauty.
I’ve tried to photograph this stunning white horse for months. Finally this morning she steered her stubborn head towards me. My camera was on full zoom and this was the best I could get.
Calling to her in English proved her stubbornness overboard. I tried in dialect “AJO.” I called tut-tuts and come here’s, she didn’t budge.

I have eaten the deeps of the Mediterranean and sampled the rich earthy reds grown from my own backyard. The strange sea creatures placed before us at our late, late evening meal are bizarre, stinky and shiny. One dish (locally known as Cannolichi) reminded me of cheese covered rain worms with olive oil and a few herbs. I dared to try it but only a small bite.
