It’s been awhile since I’ve written about blogging, and it seems only fair to share My Sardinian Life’s All-Time Stats, from the beginning of time.
Because most bloggers are secretly obsessed with their stats, and I think too many bloggers focus on the numbers and not the content they write.
I want to show newbies to the blogging world, that it takes time. Patience is definitely a virtue.
This past Christmas I was given a new super-duper camera. By super-duper I mean amaze-balls, well it’s amazing to me! It’s a Sony Cyber-shot, 16.2 mega pixels and I am in love.
There are so many fantastic features on this camera, that I am in awe. My favourite feature is the Intelligent Auto setting. The camera automatically sets to landscape, portrait, macro and many more. All I have to do is arrange the photo to my liking and point and shoot. Easy. Love.
I’m slowly learning the ropes of photography and have recently begun to play with the macro setting.
How did I do? How can I improve my macro photo shooting?
This was a wedding gift from my maid of honour. I noticed a ton of photos floating around Facebook of Sardinia’s flag on a clock, tongue, and murals. I thought I would add mine into the mix.

In December 2011 American president Obama lifted a five-year ban on horse slaughter. Bringing a once taboo food to the tables of Americans. 70% of Americans oppose horse slaughter, will this lift bring nourishment and good proteins to many starving Americans? Only time will tell.
This weeks photo challenge is rather, well, challenging: through. I’ve never been good at taking these type of photos, although I do enjoy trying. What I have envisioned in my mind, never seems to come out in the photo. I’m submitting two photos for this weeks challenge as I can’t make up my mind.
My second submission for this weeks challenge is rather cute and carries a wonderful story, close to my heart.

I always thought tomato sauce came from a can, jar or my Mother’s kitchen. It never occured to me that people took the time to make this savoury sauce from scratch and not poured from a can. I can proudly say that I have finally mastered the fine art of Italian tomato sauce, and with all good Italian things, one requires patience and persistence.
