This is my response to Ailsa’s Travel Theme: Soft.
Sardinian pomegranates are ripe for picking. They are bright, delicious and have been a symbol of prosperity and hope, all over the world for centuries.
Did you know?
I love pomegranates; when I was a child I remember my mother bringing this brightly coloured fruit home; always an Autumn fruit and always perfect. I devoured every last aril, often staining my fingers, table-cloth, face and fingers in the process. It was a delicious childhood.

Pomegranates are a SUPER food. That’s right, this brightly coloured fruit is packed with vitamin C, potassium AND it’s a fantastic source of protein.

Both photography themes this week have thrown me for a loop. I generally never take photo’s of people or other couples and I’m certainly not that advanced in my photography for silhouette‘s. The following is what I’ve come up with for Ailsa’s travel theme: couples. There’s even a little surprise among the photos. Can you find it?
Do you photograph people/strangers? Do you ask first if you can take their photo or do you snap and run?
I’ve wanted to put on display my lovely collection of Sardinian seashells which I found by the Sardinian seashore for sometime now. This week Ailsa – from Where’s my backpack gave me the perfect theme to display my collection. Thanks Ailsa!

The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I’m sure she sells seashore shells.
