Every year Sardinia hosts a kite boarding competition in the North-West. Participants from all over Europe come to sail away and test their skills. Their movement is majestic and graceful.

A fleeting fast moment in Sardinia, Italy.
On an afternoon drive we stopped to talk with a local farmer. In the distance I could hear the jingle jangle of bells. It came as a surprise to see about fifty sheep come around the corner. A fleeting moment.

My friendship with blue hair, gigantic beer and the Buffalo Bills stems from my desire to be enveloped in a stadium filled with energetic people screaming, chanting and otherwise being slightly obnoxious.
I really couldn’t care less about the game, and I wear my band-wagon colours with pride.
This week’s photo challenge is summer and I just knew the photo I wanted to submit. I took this photo while on a return three-week vacation to Cayman Islands. It’s certainly not the best photo in my collection with the crooked horizon line, but I like it.
For me, summer is all about cold sweaty beer on hot sandy beaches with beautiful natural blue skies as the backdrop.

I just love this old farmhouse. I’ve photographed it many times, in every season. I did crop and play with the colours (slightly) on this photo as I wanted to bring out the brightness of the contrasting colours.
