There are times I dream in colour, where all senses turn to you, and your startling Mediterranean hue. Dear Sardinia, I sure do miss you.

  1. Hello Jennifer 🙂
It’s a great pleasure to read your posts.
I’m sorry you’re back in Canada but I’m sure one day you can return.
I was born in this beautiful land.
Sardinia is a fabulous place but also a negative aspect regarding the difficulty in finding the right job. Lately I’ve been considering the fact to go away because of this.
    We’ll see.
When you return, don’t forget to visit the south, the beautiful land near Cagliari and the fantastic beaches of Pula and Villasimius 🙂
    Ciao a presto.

  2. Hello, could you please tell me if the book that you used for learning Italian is really good and if it comes with cd or if not, how did you learn the pronunciation? Thanks, Emilia

    • Hello. Yes, the book I used to learn Italian was/is fantastic! I don’t remember if it came with a cd, I don’t think so. I learned pronunciation just from living in Italy and hearing Italian everyday. Best of luck to you.

  3. Just got back to Manchester in the UK from my 6th visit in 3 years to bella Sardegna. Spend most of my time in the old part of Sassari and Ossi. So little is known of the history of this brilliant island here. Only known for the beaches but there is so much more!! This time I was lucky enough to be there for the 25th of April and the local parties with my Sardi friends. Please educate people to the amazing history of this fantastic place. Forza Sardegna!! Quando liberazione di Roma?

  4. Ah, Jennifer, you might not have missed it here tody, tempeste! Rain on and off all dy, though periods of sun strangely. However it has been warm and sunny and those of us who spend most of our summer under an umbrella or Palm tree have our summer tans already. It has been a long winter, esp for you and also the US. But here we are midst the greens and carpets of wildflowers that you surely remember. Spring is always my favorite for photos. Here’s hoping you cn save up enough money to come back! Best wishes from Sardegna, the land of more sheep than people😀

  5. I just spent 3 weeks there…. and now I feel homesick. My husband is from Sardinia. I cannot imagine how he must feel living in the US for so long when his heart and mind is in Sardinia.

    • Wow! Great to virtually meet you. Where did you spend your vacation in Sardinia? We lived in the north near Tempio. My husband is also from there. We will return one day to live again. Thanks for stopping in.

      • Hubby’s family is in Cagliari. At some point, we hope to live there as well.
