Weekly Photo Challenge: Selfie

Nothing makes me nostalgic for Canada than receiving super, duper mittens in the mail. I’ll be rooting for my home and native land with these new mittens, and putting my hands up in the air while, watching Canada kick butt at the Olympics in Sochi.

  3. Love the mittens!! I’m enjoying all the success Canada is having too but it is affecting my zzzz’s!! 🙂 Thanks for dropping by my page and I wish you good luck, too!! I am pretty new to the blogging world (7 months tomorrow) so to be actually nominated was an honor! Look forward to reading all about your life in Italy.

  4. What a cool idea for a selfie 😉 Since the Olympics started I have been wearing my Canadian mittens. My students got super excited about them too. Who ever came up with that idea was brilliant because everyone recognises them.
Canada is doing awesome! I can’t watch any sadly, but reading as much as I can on line.
    GO CANADA!

      • You can you get some clips of events on line through CBC. I have an app on the ipad that also has clips of the Canadian events, but the internet is too slow to allow them to load lately. Maybe you would have better luck in Italy. We don’t get local TV, but at a restuarant the other night they had the speed skating on and we saw the qualifying rounds. The next morning I found out Canada had a medal. Still going strong… keep it up CANADA!

    • It’s been great to watch all the action! Too bad all the best events they haven’t shown! I wanted to see the Women’s hockey but nope…if an Italian isn’t competing they don’t show the event. Weird.
