If the future is similar to certain disasters that have ravaged 😦 some parts of Sardinia, I prefer, although progressive and lover of the new, to keep my sheep and the enchanted island that gave us our grandparents.
I hope in a best future with respect of old wellness

Lovely, if a bit poignant post 🙂 I was about to say “Lucky sheep” when I read your reply to AD.
On our first trip to Italy we were impressed by the behaviour of Italian sheep. In Australia sheep usually spread out roughly evenly to fill any given field. The Italian sheep, I assume because they were herded inside each night for milking, clustered together and moved across the field in a grazing phalanx.
They obediently followed the shepherd to the field each morning. Aussie sheep need to be driven ahead.

I hope they have the foresight not to build on the summit. If only all developers would leave the tops of hills as parklands.
That would be ideal, but who knows until it’s finished.

They do, too bad about the construction in front. In another few years there will be no view! 😦
