Another fantastic travel theme this week: Sunset.
Follow me on a voyage of some of the best island sunsets our world has to offer. And be sure to check out Ailsa’s blog Where’s my backpack for more great submissions.
Sardinia, Italy
This photo was snapped looking out a window, that is why it’s a little blurry. There was definitely fire in the sky that evening and such a beautiful sunset.
Sardinia, Italy
Sunsets and storms make for awesome photography.
Boracay Island, Philippines
This photo was shot in 1998. I love the fishing boats and the calm waters, and the stunning sunset brings back beautiful memories.
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands 2001
I was living and working in Grand Cayman for two years and saw the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t have the best camera for stunning sunset photos.
Really lovely series of sunsets, Jennifer! xxx Ailsa
Awwww, so beautiful….

Favorite sunsets so far in US: Texas hill country (the sky is SO big) and gulf coast beaches
No. 3 it is for me too! Stunning!
OH WOW!!! Those are stunning shots!!! I cannot even begin to say which one I like best!!!
Gorgeous! I saw some stunning sunsets in Phucket! Hope your coming week is full of lovely sunsets!
Hugs,
Kathy
I wouldn’t like to be in a small boat in the region of that little storm!
Sadly, we seldom get really good sunsets here. I have seen some stunning ones in the Berg, though.
I really love the colours in the first one but number three is definitely my favourite
That grand caymen one looks stunning!!
Just about anywhere really. There are some spectacular sunsets from my balcony here in Brisbane.
Is it too late for a photo?
