The sun finally broke through the miserable grey skies and we decided to get out of the house, and go for a drive. The skies were busy with jet planes and their trails. As we headed directly into the early morning warm rays my thoughts drifted to this weeks photo challenge: sun.
This is what I came up with.
I have tweaked, played and slightly cropped this photo. It was taken from inside our car as we drove in search of Giant’s Tombs.
Chemtrails.in the sky…
Stunning photograph. 🙂
Quite dramatic! 🙂
I’ve nominated you for the Sunshine Award! Check out this link! http://allthingsboys.wordpress.com/2012/04/22/the-sunshine-award/
Oh, wow! Thank you very much! I will work on it this afternoon! 🙂

That is a really awesome photo, Jennifer.

Thank you Kathryn!
The sky seems blue -er there… I miss blue skys; even on clear days Shanghai only has washed out blues, or dull grey blue.
I have played with the colours on this pic, so that’s probably why.
Unusual sky – enjoyed the photo and your narrative. Here’s my take on “Sun” taken in the Serengeti: http://wp.me/p1TywS-ps

Oh that’s beautiful. I love jetplane trails.
Who’d have thought Sardinia was the jet trails capital of the world? What a shot!
Yeah, no kidding. I have written a few posts on the (chem)trails or contrails here. There are so many!
