This photo was taken in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Canada. This is the stomping ground of my childhood. The house sold, left to rot, infested with addicts, demolished.
If you look close enough, you can see the outline of the grand ole house.

I’m originally from Crystal Beach! The whole Niagara Region as changed so much from my teenage days. What a beautiful forlorn photo.
Thank you! I went back this past Christmastime and it seems Niagara is constantly changing. Thank you for your comment!
What a haunting photo; nice work, Jennifer!
It is rather haunting. When I went there this past Christmas, it was well … emotional.
I’m sorry to hear about the house of your childhood. I’m currently in my homeland. I visited the empty ancestral house of my father. I felt sad that the once happy place of my childhood turned into a ghostly place of emptiness. I’m glad that our memories are always there to remind us of the happy past. Thanks …
Just go here Jennifer:

Ciao! I don’t think it’s a contest, per se … all you need to do it title & tag your post. Weekly Photo Challenge: (then whatever the challenge is.) Looking forward to seeing some of your pics.
You really do have a good eye when it comes to photography!!!
Thank you, Woman. It’s a work in progress. Still learning the rules.
It is so forlorn Jennifer.

Thanks Jo. However, I can’t seem to find where to ‘sign up,’ for the Photo Challenge.
The poor house! Great one for the challenge.
Really?! Thank you! My first submission to the weekly photo challenge.
