Woke this morning to a complete and utter white out. Was planning on running 6k, but that idea is shot out the window. These pictures were taken at 7:30am.
The largest snow storm to hit Sardinia in thirty years is still hitting the island hard with the white fluff. The locals haven’t the means in dress to keep warm, no winter boots, jackets, mitts or hats. They are not used to climates like this and have begun to hibernate. The streets are silent.
Great shots!
Wow, that is crazy! We have had absolutely no snow this year. The kids are extremely disappointed. Last year it was over my head piled up in front of our yard, we had that much. This year is the exact opposite. Oh well. Enjoy!
I’ve had enough! Can’t take it anymore. Today finally we have a bit of sunshine, but the moment clouds pass by they drop more snow. The locals can’t take this, they are tired, affected by grey skies! Let’s hope for clear skies tomorrow! π
These photographs are showing us how the winter is going there… I hear this year the same expressions from so many different places, “…The largest snow storm to hit …. in thirty years….” This is interesting. Thank you dear Jennifer, I hope and wish to have a nice weather soon… With my love, nia
It is freezing in Bagni di Lucca!!! I have never been this cold here. We don’t even have pretty snow to make it worthwhile. There is a bitter wind blowing in from Siberia making things very miserable indeed. I have to go out to buy food or I wouldn’t be leaving the house.
It’s pretty cold here too, I just went out for a 20min walk and I was freezing albeit totally prepared with toque and mitts! Stay warm and cozy!
I hope you’re warm and cosy at home, as a Canadian I guess this is a few spots of snow for you – I also guess you are as prepared as the locals since you are one π
Oh, this Canadian is prepared! I have my toque and mitts which my mother sent me! π
