Sardinian Spring Skies | Travel Photography

Spectacularly blue spring skies

wisps of white that float on by.

It’s a slow start to spring this year in Sardinia. Rather cold and windy too. This time last year we were basking on the beach, this year, I’m wrapped up in two sweaters, a scarf and furry slippers!

Here’s hoping the heat breaks on though, soon.

How is spring shaping up in your neck of the woods?

  1. Colder than it should be here in Shanghai too. I am tired of the dull, dark and damp! It is SO depressing. We had a a week or so of sun and temps were on the rise. Everyone thought that spring had finllay sprung only to slide back towards the deep dark abyss…. again 😦

      • Well we had the 80s after I got back from guatemala…in March! Unheard of. Then it got really cold….40s and sleet is expected Monday! Minnesota weather is something else. You’ve got to just embrace it! Hope it warms up soon for you!!!The photos were lovely as always!

  2. I was there in April-all of April -last year and in Gergei it was not that great weather-we sure werent at the beach. My friend from Holland said based on last April she wasnt going to arrive until May this year…so I guess it depends on where you are. Heard its still a bit chilly at night but that the days have been fine-except for some rain. Well, i am sure the wildflowers are beautiful, and will be even prettier when the poppies come out! Hang in there. I am sure looking forward to arriving on the 24th.

  3. This is BEAUTIFUL! We’ve had perhaps the warmest, earliest spring I can remember and last night ….we had a pretty hard frost..all of the beautiful blooms are raining down off of the trees 😦
