I lived in Sardinia in 1961, when it was a very different place. You might be interested in my recently published novel based on my experiences: Sardinian SIlver (see my website listed below). It’s also available on Amazon and other sites.
I read on National Geographic that Sardinian people are among the most long-lived people in the world. It certainly helps to have such a beautiful environment to live along with all the wonderful food that comes from this land. Makes me think to hop on a ferry when I’m in Italy and visit. The song is really catchy, by the way.
I’ll be there Saturday!!!! Can’t wait. You did a great job on that Jennifer.
Thank you! I had so much fun making it. I hope the weather holds out for you. This morning we woke to black cloudy skies!

Yes, from what I hear Sardinia was such a different place back then … off to check out your book!
Love the video…
I have been to Italy, but never to Sardina… maybe one day… you are starting to convince me 😉
Sounds like a great place to experience!
You’ve done your new home justice, Jennifer!
Thanks Hook, good to have you back!

Yes, it’s true. Sardinia is also listed as one of the blue zones, great food, health and longevity!
I hope to visit next time I’m in Italy.
I live in Sardinia : )
Then we have something in common. 🙂
Exactly ONE DAY 🙂 Thank you dear Jennifer, with my love, nia
