2nd Blogiversary at My Sardinian Life

There was a wonderful little reminder from WordPress this morning:

Thank you for reminding me WordPress!

Today, November 22nd, 2012 is the two-year blogiversary for My Sardinian Life! I can’t believe that I’ve written about this lovely island in the Mediterranean for this long. It seems like just yesterday when I took the leap of faith and signed up for a blog on WordPress – now two years have gone by. It’s been a fun and interesting adventure where I’ve learned about Sardinia – her people, cultures and magical traditions.

To my readers, followers and stalkers – thank you. If it weren’t for your words of encouragement in these last two years – in all honestly, I would have given up. I have virtually met so many wonderful, inspirational, courageous and brilliantly fantastic people via My Sardinian Life – I have learned from each of you. You have made dark days seem brighter and even managed to turn already sparkling days into moments of magic. It humbles me to be among your followers. Thank you.

And now I have a little treat for you all, and I do hope you enjoy.

  1. Congrats. My two year anniversary is coming up. I didn’t know I would enjoy blogging as much as I do. I started my blog to help me keep track on my goals. But it turned into so much more. I’m glad we met and I love learning about your part of the world. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Well done! I started my blog to help my friends discover Bagni di Lucca, but it seems to have developed a life of its own. One of the best things about blogging is meeting fellow bloggers. Thank you for sharing your beautiful island with us.

  3. Congrats on your second blogiversary! May you blog for many more years.
Notice how many versions there are? Blogoversary on the counter, Harry says blogaversary as do many others, but I have always preferred the blogiversary you also use, as adapted from anniversary.

  4. Congratulations Jennifer. I am a newish follower but I am loving your blog and read it almost every day. I started blogging for much the same reasons – let friends and family back home what we are up to. While we were in Sicily, it was almost impossible to find free wi-fi so, ironically, most of my blogging has been back in Canada. Since then, I have been blogging mostly because I love it!

  5. Keep up the great work…through your blog I’ve been to places in Sardinia that I didn’t have the chance or will to visit when as a young man I lived there. Thanks to remind ma of my heritage !!!

  6. Awesome! Congrats! Found you just the other day, or was it that you stopped by my website. Not sure but either way, glad to have found your website. Traveled the island via Google Earth a little bit, beautiful place indeed! 🙂

  7. Happy Blog birthday. I am still a newbie I think I am 9ish weeks old. So well done. Keep up the good work and thanks for making me smile. 🙂

  8. Congrats Jennifer!! What a wonderful achievement. I’m happy You post about this lovely island and can’t wait to read about it for at least the next 2 years 😉 Keep up the great work!! Ciao, letizia

  9. I started my blog actually as a fun way to keep family and friends informed about my trips and travels with The Viking. The fact that hundreds of other people would be interested as well came as a total surprise for us 🙂
