Weekly Photo Challenge: Illumination

Sardinian Mirto is a popular liqueur made from myrtle and comes in two distinct flavours: Mirto rosso which is made from the myrtle berries and Mirto bianco which is made from the leaves of the myrtle plant. Mirto is often served as an after dinner digestive and is served chilled. Most restaurants will offer a homemade mirto which is stronger and has less sugar.

This is my response to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Illumination.

Have you tried Sardinian mirto?

  10. I bring back to Canada all I can get through customs every time I visit Sardinia; all my friends love it, to my chagrin!!!!!!!
