Ciao tutti!
I’m just writing to let you know I will be AWOL for about a month. I’ve accepted a one month contact with four stars and I’ve recently been working 10 hour shifts. Leaving me very little time for blogging, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
I’ll be around to stalk read some of your blog posts. I won’t have any new writing material for you in the next month, I really haven’t the time now … I’m crushed.
Who knows … maybe there will be more stories from The Wandering Waitress – A Guide to Traveling the World One Tip at a Time.
Chapter 1 – The Wandering Waitress
Chapter 2 – The Wandering Waitress
(These two chapters have been recently unlocked. I hope you enjoy.)
I will still be participating in the Weekly Photo Challenge and returning emails and comments.
I appreciate all of your comments, advice and kind words.
Thank you for sticking with me.
What are your summer plans?
Been very behind myself and just catching up on emails and blogs. I too just did the posts and not time for much else for most of May and June. So a belated congrats on the job!!! I am sure you will have lots of stories to share when you get back to posting again… we’ll be waiting.
Good luck, Jennifer.
We have something in common now … working in large hotels!

I hope your job works out for you. I will look forward to your return.
Sorry to say but what is AWOL?? Well good luck with the work and will be looking forward to your blogging afterwards. I’m going to Calabria for 2 weeks in 2 weeks ;). We’re going to Lucas family who still live there :D. See you soon!!
AWOL is an American military term: Absence without Leave.
It generally means someone has run away, left, gone for a very long walk, maybe they will return, maybe they won’t.
Calabria sounds super! Take lots of photos and have fun!
Ah ok, didn’t know that :)! Well, come back after your month!! 😉
Hurry back Jennifer!… and don’t work TOO hard.
PKC

Work comes first, so good luck with the job.
Thank you Harry. I’m liking it so far … lot’s of English speaking clients which is a nice change.
I hope your month away will give you some time to re-charge your batteries. My plans include a week in Italy and I’m setting up a charity challenge which will take up my time but should be interesting. All the best, K x
Ciao Kathryn,
Sounds like a nice time in Italy. What charity are you working for? Have a super summer and I look forward to reading about yours.
You too and it’s called Nyodema, which means ‘Helping each other’ in Mandinka, a West African language… nyodema.org (I help run it in my spare time!)
